Reflection on EDUC560

1) Google Docs and Forms:

Both Google Docs and Forms can be useful in education. Using Google Docs we can easily edit our Microsoft documents and save them on the drive so we can get easily accessed to the documents anytime and anywhere. Google Forms are very helpful in doing surveys or quizzes on the computer by asking questions in various forms (MCQ, True False...) and then publish results easily.

2) Blogs:

Blog is a website form which helps people like teachers express themselves to the world.  Blogs are mainly considered as a place to share thoughts, ideas, work and events. It can help teachers to publish their student’s work and accomplishments, so followers can comment.

3)Webinars:

Webinars are an event held on the internet which is attended by an online audience especially teachers. It is one form of communication in which a presenter can reach a large and specific group of online viewers and present his information. Also, a webinar offers different interactive ways between the educators and the presenter like asking questions.

4) Padlets:

Padlets are brand new way of communication between students within each each other and their teacher. Not only a teacher can directly interact with student's words, but also saves times. Students can directly reflect, comment, brainstorm and even evaluate. 

5) WebQuest:

WebQuest is one of the most effective way in teaching. Not only it contribute s to increasing student motivation, but also it is cooperative in nature in which students need to take on specific roles where they are part of a group that must accomplish the task usually a project.

6) ActivInspire:

This program blends education into technology in which it helps teachers to create lessons integrated with advanced devices by creating flip charts with many resources packed into it. It provides several options for teachers to modify their lessons or even scan pages from the text book into the active board. This program kind of matches students interests who definitely have been attracted with anything to do with technology.
